I have redesignet Ida Blichfeld’s website which has the purpose of displaying her portfolio of many design and art projects. Ida Blichfeld is a conceptual designer and artist with an interest in the relationship between language and materiality. Ida studied a BA in textile design at The Royal Danish Academy – Architecture, Design, Conservation. She recently graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven with a master in Contextual Design. In her work she is exploring how to speak through craft, moving images and body rhythms. Being dyslexic, she is developing a non-language in colours to confront dominant logic and the vulnerability of failing.
Specifically colours and dynamics was a main focus when designing her website. Ida’s art is very colourful and therefore I wanted her website to reflect that. The website is made in the CMS system Squarespace with the template Avenue.

Before starting the design phase I had a meeting with Ida, where we in collaboration created wireframes to figure out how the website should be structured.
Ida’s concepts are always dynamic and colouful, so therefore I created a moodboard to capture the essence of her universe and to align on the design for the website. I also made Ida’s logo into a motion graphic, which can be seen on the frontpage of the website. I made the motion graphic in Adobe After Effects.
